Mastering the master of our body and brain,
Taming the uncontrollable,
Instructing the unbelievable,
Controlling the known, but unknown many times,
Wishing the wellbeing for ourselves, and others,
Channelizing the destructive to the constructing,
Molding to seek the best results,
Knowing the best part of our consciousness and subconsciousness,
Forgiving and forgetting the mistakes of others,
And finally realizing to extend our minds into productivity.
Overthinking thrills but sucks the whole creativity and productivity of our mind, our body also feel tired very soon. It depletes the energy to think and analyze properly.
When we were born, we were unable to recognize the things, persons, colors and least aware about the happenings around us, the only thing dear to us was the curdling and caring hands of our mother and father. As soon as we start growing up, we go away from our innocence.
Worrying about the happenings that never happened or tend to happen become part of our behavior. Fear about the unknown overpowers our mind, and our mind keeps on thinking about the irrelevant till it drains our mind’s energy fully or we feel low or depressed.
Almost all of us keep thinking about one particular thing again and again, leads to anxiety and depression. Sometimes it holds the mind of a person so firmly that he has to face sleepless nights, which effects the overall health of that person. In few cases it acts like termite that eats up one’s happiness, health and wellbeing. The person starts living in the nonexistent world considering it real as he lives in his mind and tries to find out the answers to the various happenings, why those happen to him, he visits places and work there, his physical presence is felt by others , whereas he is mentally absent from that place ,he is least interested in his surroundings and misses the beautiful happenings around him.
Life is like a river, it passes through many ups and downs, it crosses all the hurdles that come its way, if the water stops at one place it stagnates, similarly our mind trapped in the vicious circle of futile thoughts become ill, negative and dull. While overthinking we are creating the problems which are actually not there.
How to check if we are overthinking?
Don’t worry we all overthink, it can be checked and stopped with little effort.
First of all, we have to know when we are overthinking and ruminating and trapped in a single thought.

Overthinking is a major problem, but every problem has the solution. If it is not checked within time, it’s becomes like an unorganized traffic, where there is no red light. When we overthink, we ruminate the same thing time and again, we cross the limits of our mind that we have set for ourselves for years, and put ourselves in a dilemma that those imaginary baseless conclusions are true. It eats up the power of our mind to think rationally, lessens the efficacy to work as whole of the day we remain stick to one point only, trying to bring zero out of zero, it has no end. We have to break its chain which gives birth to many fears. We can help ourselves and also seek the help of others to overcome it. Our mind needs to take rest to work properly, while doing something we are thinking about the other, effects our efficiency to do any task. For proper functioning of our mind and to increase our efficacy in any field we have to reduce the number of thoughts and focus on what is positive and possible.
