Once I met two brother and sister, both very intelligent. The brother stood second in the all-India entrance examination. The father of the children went to meet the mentor of the boy, who used to encourage him to achieve best in life, his daughter, who was younger to her brother also accompanied the duo. The mentor was very happy to know about the success of his student. He in a very casual manner asked the girl that her brother had secured second rank on all India basis, what would you do. She in a very calm and confident manner replied that she would secure first rank in the same stream and after few years she proved that. This fable is not regarding the first or second rank in any examination or competing with your own siblings, it’s the self – motivation.
The energy of mind never depletes, it drains only in one case when negativity enters your life.
